1.  Student Achievement – The Governing Board of Cartwright School District #83 will commit to support the allocation of resources, development of policies, and monitoring of district activities to ensure that annual progress is being made and, ensure that the public is informed about student achievement.

 

2.  Technology – The Governing Board of Cartwright School District #83 will adopt and support an action plan to increase access to current technology for all students in an effort to prepare the for 21^st Century learning.

 

3.  Professional Development – The Governing Board of Cartwright School District #83 will commit to support the allocation of resources to support professional development for all Board Members, District, Administrative, Certified and Classified Staff.

 

4.  Communication - The Governing Board of Cartwright School District #83 will adopt and support a district-wide communication plan to promote expanded school/community engagement inside and outside the District. The communication/community engagement plan will include feedback from all stakeholder groups including parents, guardians and community regarding education in the Cartwright School District #83. Wide use of social media is an inherent part of the expectations.

 

5.  Customer Service – The Governing Board of the Cartwright School District #83 will hold themselves, and all District personnel accountable to exemplary customer service standards. These standards will be outlined and agreed upon by all parties, and evaluated on a regular basis for improvement.

3.  Be engaged, prepared and attentive at Board meetings – The Governing Board of the Cartwright School District #83 will commit to being engaged, prepared and attentive at Board meetings.

 

4.  Increase visibility on school campuses and at special events – The Governing Board of the Cartwright School District #83 will increase its visibility on school campuses and at special events.
