Summer Meal Distribution Locations


The Cartwright School District is committed to continue feeding our students during the summer months. We have distribution locations throughout our district.
The times are from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. for school locations.  We are also serving students who live in apartment communities with the serving times starting at 9:00 a.m.  To view the locations in full see the document below.

Food Benefits

Dear Cartwright Families,
We wanted to inform you that all students enrolled in Cartwright School District schools are eligible for this benefit. Information about how this program will work is outlined below.

HOUSEHOLDS WITH EBT CARDS: Families that currently have an EBT card for SNAP or TANF will have P-EBT benefits added to their card automatically. March & April benefits will be added by May 5. May benefits will be added by May 18. (See monthly amounts below.) Published by the Arizona Food Bank Network on April 28, 2020, with information provided by DES.

$69 for March
$126 for April
$120 for May


HOUSEHOLDS WITHOUT EBT CARDS: Families that do not have an EBT card will receive a P-EBT card by mail. DES will begin mailing these cards in mid-May. P-EBT cards will include benefits for March, April, and May. Pandemic EBT in Arizona For families with children who receive free or reduced-price school meals

  • P-EBT cards will be mailed to the student’s home address.
  • Please make sure your address is correct by contacting your child’s school.
  • P-EBT cards require a personal identification number (PIN). To set up your PIN, call 1-888-997- 9333 or visit www.ebtEdge.com. You will need your P-EBT letter from DES to set up your PIN.
  • P-EBT cards will be issued under the name of the parent or guardian for the household.
  • Households will get one P-EBT card, with the combined total benefits for all eligible children.
  • P-EBT cards can be used to purchase food items only at any SNAP retailer.
  • P-EBT benefits can also be used to participate in the SNAP Double Up Food Bucks program.

IMPORTANT: We also wanted to inform you that due to the sudden economic downturn, your household may qualify for nutrition assistance (food stamps) or other assistance. To apply, visit the AHCCCS websiteOr call “Helping Families In Need” at (800) 298-4346.

We continue to serve grab and go breakfast and lunch 8:00am to 10:00 Monday through Thursday (double meals on Thursdays) at several locations.
